Teachers/Staff will hold informational sessions tonight.
Each Group will hold 2 sessions:
Session 1 @ 4:30 p.m.
Session 2 @ 6:00 p.m.
The same information will be repeated at each session, so you only need to join once! If you have children in different grades, you may join one grade presentation at 4:30 and the second grade level at 6:00.
Feel free to join our content specialist and service provider presentations if those sessions apply to you.

A Message from our Principal

The vision of P.S. 54 is to bring our students into the 21st century through innovation and modern technology. We will have a quality, creative, compassionate, caring, and innovative teacher in every classroom for all students. We know that learning is the path to success; therefore, we will provide all of our students, no matter their differences and life circumstances, with the appropriate opportunities so that they may reach their true potential.
 
Through project-based learning, differentiated teaching and a technology-infused curriculum, our students will become creative and critical thinkers with successful problem-solving skills. This, in turn, will empower our students to leave their mark on society, succeed throughout their lives, and become human beings who would value, love, and respect themselves as well as others.
 

La visión de la escuela pública 54 es conducir a nuestros estudiantes hacia el Siglo 21 con innovación y tecnología moderna. Tendremos maestros/as de calidad, creativos, comprensivos, cariñosos e innovadores en cada salón de clase para todos los estudiantes. Nosotros sabemos que la educación es el camino hacia el éxito; por lo tanto, le proveeremos a todos nuestros estudiantes, sin importar sus diferencias o circunstancias de vida, con las oportunidades apropiadas para que puedan alcanzar sus potenciales. Mediante el aprendizaje basado en proyectos, experiencias, y la enseñanza diferenciada con un currículo infundido de tecnología, nuestros estudiantes se convertirán en pensadores creativos y críticos con habilidades para resolver problemas exitosamente.
